The resorts
- The Arlberg Ski Region, Austria is made up of three main villages - St. Anton, Zurs & Lech. St. Anton is one the most famous resorts in the world, easiest to reach and has a young crowd. It also has a lot of bars and partying till all hours. . Zurs is a much smaller village, quiet with more expensive hotels. Lech is the most up-market of the three, having a nice mixture of lively bars, hotels and shops.

- Les Trois Vallées, France has three main ski resorts - Courchevel, Méribel and Val Thorens - which come together to create one of the largest ski areas in the world. The fourth Les Menuires joins the other three and all four are linked by a shared lift pass.
