Mr. Hankey may be described as a magical poop that comes out of the toilet every Christmas Eve and gives loads of gifts to all those children who eat plenty of fiber as part of their daily diet. He is considered the most famous piece of poop in the World with thousands of sites on the internet completely devoted to him. He is the brain child of Trey Parker who also lends his voice to Mr. Hankey in South Park, the series in which Mr. Hankey occasionally appears.

The emergence of Mr. Hankey

In the South Park series, Mr. Hankey emerges from toilet bowl during Christmas and gives presents to kids and advice to those of them who are in need of it. He cannot come at any other time (season) or else he will wither up and die. He is a special friend of one of the central characters, Kyle, whom he takes under his wing. When he comes on screen, he greets everyone with a cheerful Howdy Ho! He has his own theme song which he proceeds to sing when he arrives and his favorite form of transport seems to be the PooChoo train - made up of raw sewage. His family is made up of his wife Autumn and his three kids Simon, Cornwallis and Amber.

Charges of plagiarism

John Krikafalski (creator of Ren and Stimpy) has claimed that Mr.Hankey is in fact a facsimile of his character, Nutty the Nutmeg Poop. Trey Parker (Mr. Hankey’s creator) has denied it and according to him the idea of Mr. Hankey had been lodged in his brain ever since he was potty training. He had this strange phobia that Mr. Hankey would come out of the toilet if he did not flush.
