Pet Stockings
These days, our pets are just as pampered as our children -or as if they were are children. Before long, you’ll be able to fill your pet’s stocking with all of his or her favorite goodies.
Finding the right gifts for your dog or cat is easier now that there are entire pet stores devoted to all things pet related.
Buy a stocking at the nearest pet store or even at a department store or at the mall. The advantage of buying one at a pet store is that many already come pre-stuffed with the latest in doggie or kitty toys and treats. If you want to fill your own, buy the stocking anywhere and stuff it yourself. You can even make your own stocking with some felt and some thick thread and glitter glue.
Possible gifts include toys for your pet, special treats, outfits and maybe a collar or leash for your pet. Cats love anything with catnip and dogs love toys that squeak. You can go to a pet store or try the pet section of the department store or market. Go to local craft fairs and look for pet toys. Just about anything you get will be appreciated by your pet and will add to the fun of Christmas.
Check out the internet for pet toys and gifts. If you find something that doesn’t fit in the stocking, put it under the tree in a wrapping. This is especially true for animal clothing. Imagine wrapping a warm sweater up for your pet and wrapping it up for under the tree.
Whether it seems ridiculous to some or not, it is becoming the norm to buy something for your pets. So go hog wild and buy some gifts for your pets!
