Santa’s Hot Chocolate Recipe
This is Santa’s favorite recipe for Christmas !
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 ounces fine-quality bittersweet chocolate
- 1/3 cup well-chilled heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Preparation
Mix using an electric mixer, beaten cream and sugar in a large bowl until it has stiffen and can form peaks.
Chop chocolates but set aside about 2 teaspoons. In a saucepan, heat the milk in moderate heat together with the remaining chocolate. Stir continuously until it is brought to a simmer.
Recipe makes two large mgs of hot chocolate. Top with a whipped cream and chopped chocolate reserved earlier.
